Hey everyone!! I know it’s been a while. I’ve been busy.. and I’ve totally neglected my blog and most of social media (aside from a couple posts here & there). Sorry for being MIA! I promise, all is well.. but I’ve been longing for a beach day- and one has finally been set up! Next Wednesday (Aug 2nd) I’ll be in Stone Harbor NJ doing mini sessions on the beach! I highly recommend you play hooky from work and swing by with the kiddos. We all need a mental health day from time to time, and the beach is the best place for rest, relaxation, and adorable family photos. (If you don’t believe me, take it from the mermaid.. 😍)
I’ll see you there?! Shoot me a message to set up your session!
This was SUCH a gorgeous day. Cait was surrounded by love and support from a small group of close friends and family. She received gifts of birth affirmations, birth beads, and sacred offerings to remind her of the love and support that would continue to surround her throughout the remainder of her pregnancy and the birth of her baby. At the time, her baby’s gender was a surprise.. but a few weeks after this beautiful day, Baby Max made his way earth-side. 💗
At the last minute (back in the spring), we decided to schedule a maternity session to capture The Bovee Family for the last time as a family of four + bump before Mr. Owen made his grand debut! If you follow my Facebook page, you probably heard a lot about Owen during the last few weeks of Kim’s pregnancy, and Owens early days/weeks because of his CCAM. You can learn more about Owen & The Bovee’s story here.
We had a lot of fun during this session, trekking through mud (sorry, Kim…) and dancing to Steve’s iPhone to get Sydney to actually smile. ❤
I met Renée & Stephen through my cousin Melanie. They were expecting their first child and we spent Renée’s first Mother’s Day doing a belly casting of her adorable baby bump at 37 weeks… and only four days later, sweet baby Anton arrived early! We could not have timed this project more perfectly! It took me a little longer to finish getting the belly bowl ready, but he still fit just perfect for his newborn photos almost two weeks later.
Belly casting was SO fun and Renée and Stephen were thrilled with the outcome. They have incredible pictures of exactly how their sweet baby fit in mom’s tummy, and they have a perfect keepsake to show him when he’s older! I’m so ready to do another belly cast bowl… who wants one?! 😉
