Hey everyone!! I know it’s been a while. I’ve been busy.. and I’ve totally neglected my blog and most of social media (aside from a couple posts here & there). Sorry for being MIA! I promise, all is well.. but I’ve been longing for a beach day- and one has finally been set up! Next Wednesday (Aug 2nd) I’ll be in Stone Harbor NJ doing mini sessions on the beach! I highly recommend you play hooky from work and swing by with the kiddos. We all need a mental health day from time to time, and the beach is the best place for rest, relaxation, and adorable family photos. (If you don’t believe me, take it from the mermaid.. 😍)
I’ll see you there?! Shoot me a message to set up your session!
Those leaves will be on the ground before you know it! Fall mini sessions are so popular I ended up adding another day for those who couldn’t make Saturday work in their schedule. So if you’re thinking of a family session filled with beautiful fall leaves, your last chance is this weekend, Saturday, October 29th & Sunday, October 30th at Valley Garden Park!
Book your spot now! Or contact me (302.543.2367 or firstname.lastname@example.org) and I’ll get you on the calendar.
So many awesome mothers. And fathers. And grandparents. And incredible littles. (And super amazing staff that hosted this beautiful event!)
The Latch On event at Nemours has proven to be (again) my favorite event to photograph. There is a beautiful sense of friendship and honest, open camaraderie that takes place at the latch on events. I love overhearing mommas congratulate other mommas for hitting milestones or simply compliment one another. There was tons of love floating around on this beautiful day!
I recognized many faces from last year, and it made my heart so happy to see those families again! There were also lots of new babies this year! One was only one week old!! Oh my, those tiny little hands.. And feet.. And itty bitty nose!
I. Just. Can’t.
So would you like to see what I saw from behind the lens yesterday? Get ready for awesomeness (and make sure you check out the link below the gallery.. there are more images there!)

*UPDATE* The Latch On Event was rescheduled to September 17th! Same time & place! See you there!!
Last year, The Big Latch on at Nemours was an incredible day. This year the event is the week AFTER The Global Big Latch On, but it will still be a beautiful fun-filled day. Join us on Saturday, August 13th from 10am-2pm with your family, and make sure you stop by early to sign up for a mini session at my table! See the Facebook event page here!
This was SUCH a gorgeous day. Cait was surrounded by love and support from a small group of close friends and family. She received gifts of birth affirmations, birth beads, and sacred offerings to remind her of the love and support that would continue to surround her throughout the remainder of her pregnancy and the birth of her baby. At the time, her baby’s gender was a surprise.. but a few weeks after this beautiful day, Baby Max made his way earth-side. 💗
At the last minute (back in the spring), we decided to schedule a maternity session to capture The Bovee Family for the last time as a family of four + bump before Mr. Owen made his grand debut! If you follow my Facebook page, you probably heard a lot about Owen during the last few weeks of Kim’s pregnancy, and Owens early days/weeks because of his CCAM. You can learn more about Owen & The Bovee’s story here.
We had a lot of fun during this session, trekking through mud (sorry, Kim…) and dancing to Steve’s iPhone to get Sydney to actually smile. ❤
I met Renée & Stephen through my cousin Melanie. They were expecting their first child and we spent Renée’s first Mother’s Day doing a belly casting of her adorable baby bump at 37 weeks… and only four days later, sweet baby Anton arrived early! We could not have timed this project more perfectly! It took me a little longer to finish getting the belly bowl ready, but he still fit just perfect for his newborn photos almost two weeks later.
Belly casting was SO fun and Renée and Stephen were thrilled with the outcome. They have incredible pictures of exactly how their sweet baby fit in mom’s tummy, and they have a perfect keepsake to show him when he’s older! I’m so ready to do another belly cast bowl… who wants one?! 😉
I haven’t posted anything in WAY too long. So we’re throwing it back to Spring and I’m catching up. These pictures were captured back in May. It was a gorgeous day, and this family is SO much fun. I think you can see how awesome they are in the pictures. 😉
